The choir of the Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church of Watertown is an integral part of the church’s liturgical ministry, singing the hymns and responses for the Divine Liturgy and other special services and events throughout the year. Choir membership is open to all, without audition, who wish to actively participate in the beautiful services of our church. Cynthia Mitaras Alex is the choir director, assisted by organist Carol Novitsky.

AN OPEN LETTER OF INVITATION!

"How good it is to sing praises to our God; for he is gracious, and a song of praise is fitting." - Psalm 147:1

Everyone is welcome to join the Taxiarchae Choir. Please don’t be shy - we were all new members at one time! We are from all walks of life, but one thing we have in common is a love of music, singing and good fellowship. You do not have to be able to read music to sing with us, but merely have the ability to blend your voice with others around you.

Join us and you will understand how rewarding it is for all of us to take part in the beautiful worship services of our church.

Our rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00 PM in the church. We look forward to having you join us! For more information, please send an e-mail to our Choir Director, Cynthia Alex at cindialex@verizon.net.
