Curriculum
Taxiarchae Watertown Greek School abides by The Department of Greek Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America that establishes all components of the curriculum, in accordance with the Ministry of Education guidelines.
Learners must participate in the academic, religious, cultural and other programs established by The Department of Greek Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America in:
Greek language and Greek Orthodox religious study is compulsory.
The Curriculum consists of instruction in Greek and English.
Modern Greek language used to teach our students, including vocabulary, reading, writing and grammar and conversation.
Greek poems, prayers, songs used to teach the students about the Greek culture, heritage, religion and history
The school year is divided into two terms Fall and Spring, and classes
Ages - K (5 Years) through 6th Grade
